Transtelecom (TTC) and Astana IT University have signed a memorandum of cooperation to train and develop young IT specialists.

As part of this agreement, university students will have the opportunity to complete an internship at the company, gaining hands-on experience with one of Kazakhstan’s leading digital operators.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has repeatedly emphasized the importance of collaboration between businesses and universities in preparing qualified professionals. In his speeches, he has noted that companies should actively involve students in real-world practice, creating conditions for their professional growth.

The signing of the memorandum between TTC and Astana IT University contributes to this initiative, supporting future specialists in the digital industry.

Transtelecom JSC is one of the largest telecommunications operators in Kazakhstan, specializing in telecom services, digitalization, and system integration. The company actively implements advanced technologies and contributes to the development of the country’s IT infrastructure.

Currently, the company has around 30 memorandums in place with various educational institutions.

Last year, approximately 200 students completed internships in 18 fields, including business application administration, information security, local and backbone networks, operational activities, and information technology. Outstanding interns were subsequently offered employment at TTC.

The partnership with Astana IT University will strengthen IT training and create new opportunities for students eager to apply their knowledge in practice.

This agreement gives students access to real-world projects, modern technologies, and experienced mentors, significantly enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
