JSC Transtelecom stepped into 2022 confidently and swiftly with ambitious goals and plans. We have been working hard and making steady progress towards achieving the best outcomes in the IT sector.
This year, we expanded our network of contacts and relationships, added new product categories to our solution offering, and shared our knowledge of both domestic and global markets. We took part in such forums as Digital Bridge, Profit Cloud Day, and Astana Finance Days. We also promoted ourselves at international conferences in the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Tatarstan, and Kyrgyzstan. We have become influential members of the global community. Today, JSC Transtelecom is a progressive, successful, and dynamically developing company. Thanks to the professionalism of the members of the management board, senior management, and employees, we are confidently moving towards sustainable development.
I would like to mention that this year we were able to make significant progress in the field of sustainable development in addition to maintaining the good results from the previous year. Transtelecom plans to keep contributing to efforts to address the nation's various social and economic issues.
We are rigorously pursuing our mission to lead Kazakhstanis to digital prosperity. This year, we significantly expanded our presence in the country and brought internet to many localities. I am glad that since the World Wide Web is accessible, rural residents now have new opportunities for holistic development.
I want to emphasise how quickly and continuously the IT industry is evolving. And our business will not merely observe inertly as the nation's digital landscape changes. We are committed to daily improvement, self-challenge, and active growth.
Overall, 2022 was a year full of vibrant initiatives and significant media events. These accomplishments are the result of the diligent work of Transtelecom's staff. We are consistently putting our plans into action and will follow through on all endeavours.
I would like to end by thanking the Board members and staff for their commitment. Without your talent, diligence, sense of responsibility, and professionalism, many of our accomplishments would not have been possible. I would like to thank the partners for their efficient collaboration. I want to express my gratitude to our clients for placing their trust in us and sticking with us.

The year 2022 was a busy one for us. We continued to build up our digital infrastructure and engage in new product launches. Under the sign of corporate innovations, Transtelecom has defined new prospects for itself. As part of our cooperation with Plug and Play Kazakhstan, we launched a joint accelerator programme for start-ups. This move, I am confident, was crucial and appropriate given that start-ups have started to develop more quickly than large corporations in the modern world.
We chose the best projects from among the hundreds selected by an international Silicon Valley team. Participants had the opportunity to learn from Plug and Play's experience to create global business ideas, pilot, implement, and scale them. We selected areas with a focus on cloud technologies, 5G, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and business process automation. I think start-up solutions will help both our customers and the telecom industry grow. the initial plans are to start implementing innovations in the "cloud". There is no coincidence, either.
I would like to remind you that Transtelecom set a course for the development of the cloud direction a few years ago. Today, the company has the widest network of 10 full-fledged commercial data centres. They have a clear competitive advantage over other market players because they are geographically dispersed across the nation. As a reliable and responsible telecom operator, we have paid special attention to the fair use of data and data protection. In 2022, Transtelecom successfully passed the full cycle of Design Documents review and received a Tier III certificate, which confirms that the data centre infrastructure meets international requirements. We succeeded despite the lengthy and fairly difficult process. That will not be our end, though. Now it's on to Certification of Constructed Facility.
In 2022, Transtelecom continued to improve the quality of service provision. We were excited to investigate new market niches, so we introduced a new TTS TV service and positioned digital TV as a component of our package solutions. At the same time, we continued to improve our tariff selection for subscribers, taking into account their qualitative and quantitative needs.
Implementing the Rural Settlements 250+ project also kept moving forward. For many years, Transtelecom has worked to close the digital gap between urban and rural areas. Transtelecom has installed fiber-optic communication lines in locations where connectivity was previously spotty or non-existent. I am convinced that the Internet in remote communities should become the norm. This is one of the conditions for a comfortable life, especially for young people.
By the way, our business recognises the value of assisting young people and is prepared to invest significantly in it. Due to this, Transtelecom actively participated in dual education for the implementation of projects aimed at the qualitative digitalization of crucial processes in the lives of Kazakhstanis. This field offers gifted and promising young people the chance to become fully immersed in their future profession and learn its nuances through hands-on experience. Transtelecom increased the number of partner universities this year and began working with more than 20 academic institutions.
I want to emphasise that our entire organisation is focused on maintaining our position as the best telecoms service provider and employer in the sector. It goes without saying that human resources give businesses the ability to keep up their market dominance. Therefore, we want to make sure that employees are recognised as high achievers, use their skills and abilities in the workplace, and see opportunities for advancement.
I would like to thank the team for their dedication, professionalism, and thoughtful and responsible work ethic. It is because of you that our business is able to accomplish ambitious goals and meet professional challenges with ease. Your determination convinces me that there are no impossible tasks. You deserve the highest praise and the warmest words.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all members of the Board of Directors for their trust and new perspectives. I promise that we will not stop at what we have accomplished and will do our best to improve the outcomes and set new records.
